I’m writing poetry
It ain’t hard for me
Especially because its about you-as you can see
I can tell you everything
You are the only thing
I will ever need
Because when i’m around you
You make me believe that I can be anything
Your so beautiful and kind
You can fight for what’s right
And somehow still find
Time for what’s behind
All of my blinds
That i keep closed because im on the grind
But you already knew that nevermind
I don’t understand why lifes gotta be so unkind
And i’m just out of my mind
Running around hopeless and looking for signs
Just to run back to you and cry
Because when you and me combine
Everything that i was searching to find
Just falls right in front of me, yet im blind
And i realize the way you were designed
Is so beautiful and refined
I love you with all my heart
Even When my feelings and emotions get in the way
when these lyrics and poetry try and rip me apart
Making me feel like it’s always doomsday
Remember back on my birthday
When you gave me all those gifts and I was put to shame
Yeah that was funny-things were always competitive after that day
Even when I get down because im drained
Which probably got you thinking like you were to blame
When c’mon you know you weren’t the flame
That keeps on tearing me down, that’s what I claim
Our loves like a card game
And everytime we play
I feel like Im lame
Because everytime we play
I am speechless and got nothing to say
It’s cause im not what you deserve
You do so much, and you got the nerve
To walk away from others because you got me reserved
Yeah you told me I was sent from god
But really it was you im just too odd
But maybe that’s why I’m writing this song
Maybe it’s because you and me belong
And we deserve to be together
Because when were around each other
We feel as light as a feather
And we can improve one another
Slowly see what emotions we can uncover
A lot of my songs I write are from my spiritual feelings
And people say–if you love someone in a spiritual way–well hey that’s revealing
And it shows that maybe you love them like in real way–got me thinking
Maybe this is true love
Maybe this is do love
Maybe this is new stuff
Baby you too cute love

For those of you wondering no this was not written for my current girlfriend. This was to a girl, who will always be in my memory. And I constantly hope is doing alright. It was just a different time back then.
