Setting Sail

I sit here broken like a bike
No chain no wheel no fight
Just alone sad lost in the night
Abandoned left at the construction site

I’m so messed up it’s insane
The pain in my mouth comes from my brain
I’m sick to my stomach when I look at the things
That push me down and break my bones, the rings
I’m on the brink of existential war, nothing left just a full out sore
Growing on me like lightning from
Thor
I can’t get away its faster it’s more
Than just something I can ignore
It eats at me and breaks me down every pore
Of My body it breaks down so fast, even when I’m alone and my feelings last
I can’t get away I thought it was in the past
Then it comes up out of nowhere and kicks me to the grass
I’m stranded stuck as I sit in this cast
My Broken bones and shattered body nothing that I haven’t passed
But I sit there suffering over and over again for what, watch as I laugh
My emotions and my shame are jokes I’m speaking the facts
The only things that has broken me and left me cracked
Is the poison in my bones and body that’s black
And it’s harsh and dangerous there’s nothing it lacks
Except the ability to stop me in my tracks
I’m gonna keep on more as long as I rap
I continue breaking down emotional traps
Finding out my own spirit and all the red flags that I ignore everyday because I know I’m a gas up my vehicle as long I can
Im gonna keep on driving as long this van
Pulls me along as my kite is dragged through the sands
Im getting pulled by something that has scarred hands
The van is someone it’s not driving it ran
It’s holding onto me as hard as it can
It’s running as fast as possible never letting me land
I stay afloat for the first time in awhile this isn’t a man
This person is someone special he saved me I will not be damned
I’ll survive I’ll sit here and stand
Look at my damaged kite and broken bike as long as I can
I realize the bike isn’t mine
It’s the guys
The guy who saves me all the time
I just find him and make things right
He’s pulled me along through this treacherous land as long as I fight
But he can’t pull me all the time and keep up with the lines
I’ll have to fix up that bike so that he can ride
His hands won’t hurt anymore and neither his side
Won’t be the first time this guy got out of mind
He is powerful, I’ve seen him sometimes
I’m usually upset, and depressed, because I’m spiritually blind
He would hug me in his arms because my spiritual spine
I would sit there and pour my soul out; I would cry
He would comfort and tell me everything is alright
And I believe because of his sight
He sees me as the man I try to be and not really am
He knows what to say and when I finally can, im gonna say thank you to that mysterious man
He is there but Im missing his teachings
I can get to him no matter how hard im reaching
But he’ll keep on pulling I keep on breaching
While I keep on destroying the enemies leaping Towards me trying to kill me
So one day me and him will easily succeed, look at the man who has a broke bike and broken knees
Take the guy who damaged my kite, and take a piece of him that he can’t back so he can finally see
The pain that comes with the stuff that he brings
Me and my savior will take down the evil
We fight together no matter the people
We breach the world with all of the speakers
Goodnight America you keep on being weepful
But I’m moving on nothing is free tho
And I’m gonna work hard
Wish me luck as I fill these scars

Honestly a beautiful image. A race against evil. Themes of the savior, light, hope, a display I witness constantly.

The longest stretch of the book, and the loudest. Most of these carry a date and an album.
